Oriental Couture

Welcome to my designs for oriental couture. I design garments inspired by Asian and Pacific history as well as Eastern and Western cross-cultural influences. Here you can find silk Qipao (Cheongsams), hand embroidered pants, unique Kimono and more! I enjoy creating garments from scratch as well as reimagining vintage finds. Some of my favorite moments of fashion history include the simple, straight linen Qipao of 1920s China, the sultry, beaded gowns of Georgian England, and the bubblegum-pink sequins of Y2K. In many of my designs you can find hand beading, bright colors and antique garnishes (think a button from the 1910s). My style is an eclectic mix of dollhouse, oriental and bohemian aesthetics.
