Children’s Books
Below you will find the two books I illustrated as part of the Planet Family Series. While a student at UCLA, I met a lovely little lady named Ida Eisler. She is a scientist who writes fun, educational stories for her two grandsons. At the time, she was looking for an illustrator for a story and I volunteered to illustrate for her. While I had been drawing my whole life, I had never illustrated a book before, so it was a big learning experience. All my illustrations were painted by hand in acrylic. One of the greatest joys of this process was visiting elementary schools, getting to meet the kids, and reading these books to them.
